Our Mission
Strut to Success, Inc. exists to empower girls with the confidence, skills, and guidance to step boldly into every stage of their lives. Rooted in the belief that every woman should own at least one pair of patent leather pumps, our work symbolizes preparation, self-worth, and the courage to move forward with intention.

Through Strut Circles, mentorship, and community-centered experiences, we create safe, affirming spaces where middle and high school girls can build confidence, develop leadership skills, and begin envisioning the women they are becoming.
Our Story
Strut to Success, Inc. was founded on a simple but powerful belief: confidence changes the trajectory of a girl's life.

What began as a message passed down, that every woman should own at least one pair of black patent leather pumps, became the foundation for a movement rooted in preparation, self-worth, and intentional growth. The pump represents more than style; it symbolizes readiness, confidence, and the courage to take the next step.

Today, Strut to Success focuses on empowering middle and high school girls through structured group experiences, mentorship, and community-centered programming. Our Strut Circles create safe, affirming spaces where girls build confidence, explore leadership, and begin to envision who they are becoming.

As our organization grows, girls who participate in Strut Circles will be the first invited to apply for our flagship mentorship experience, the Black Patent Leather Pump Program, a transformative opportunity to support young women as they step into adulthood with clarity and confidence.

Strut to Success isn't about the shoes. It's about what they represent; belief in oneself, preparation for what's next, and the power of walking boldly toward purpose.

Meet Our Founder
Strut to Success, Inc. was founded by Danielle Willis, a social worker, entrepreneur, and community leader dedicated to creating confidence-building opportunities for girls. Inspired by her own journey and the mentorship she received as a young woman, Danielle created Strut to Success to ensure the next generation has access to guidance, encouragement, and spaces where they can thrive.

With a professional background rooted in advocacy, wellness, and leadership development, Danielle recognized a gap in programming that centers confidence early, before doubt takes hold. Through Strut to Success, she focuses on supporting middle and high school girls as they build self-belief, explore leadership, and begin shaping their vision for their future.

Danielle's work is grounded in the belief that confidence is not accidental, it's cultivated. Through Strut Circles, mentorship experiences, and community partnerships, she is committed to helping girls take intentional steps toward who they are becoming, one strut at a time.

Her message is simple and enduring: every step forward is a victory, strut boldly.
